Launched in Jan 2023!
The Diversity Project will be launching our new Pathway programme – a targeted programme to support and develop the female Portfolio Managers of the future.
Its objective is to give the talented women selected by their firms the best opportunity to progress and succeed in becoming Portfolio Managers. 33 members of the Diversity Project have selected 60 women across different functions to participate in this first year.
This is a first class, bespoke programme that has been carefully designed and developed by a group of over 30 professionals within the Diversity Project’s member firms. It will be delivered by existing Portfolio Managers and other experts within our industry. We have designed the curriculum to cover a wide range of relevant topics, including technical and behavioural skills. We also aim to give women plenty of networking opportunities and to meet role models in our industry.
All of the sessions are interactive and designed to maximise impact and allow for individual learning based on your everyone’s own experiences, goals and objectives.
The Pathway programme will officially launch in January 2023, and will include:
- In-person forums for all participants, their sponsors, Pathway trainers and speakers.
- In-person networking breakfasts.
- Monthly interactive webinars.
- Access to a real-time collaboration tool that will help participants stay in touch and share content, plus the opportunity to contact all other participants in the programme.
This programme is open to Diversity Project members only, and all candidates undergo a rigorous selection process with the firms before being put forward for the programme. The selection process for 2023 is now closed. More details regarding the 2024 programme will be communicated in the future.
