SafeSpace

Following the recent allegations of misconduct at the CBI, Crispin Odey and others the Diversity Project – which exists solely to create a more diverse and inclusive investment and savings industry – is offering everyone who works in the industry the opportunity to share experiences of poor behaviour. These behaviours can include but not limited to; any form of bullying, discrimination or harassment, including racism, homophobia, disability discrimination, ageism, discrimination on the basis of socio-economic background as well as any sexual harassment (this is not an exhaustive list). We can only address problems and build inclusive, positive working environments if we first understand the nature and extent of any such behaviours.

We are asking everyone to come forward who have experienced, witnessed, or may have caused such adverse behaviours within the past five years. Those behaviours may be related to colleagues or be related to others e.g. clients or third parties who you have worked with.

Any incidents reported will be anonymised before being collated and categorised under key themes. Aggregated findings which will remain anonymous (e.g. it will not be possible to identify any individuals or firms) will be presented to the Diversity Project’s Advisory Council who will agree actions to address problems in order to create better workplace cultures. Contact details are only sought to allow for any signposting to help and resources if required.

We need your help to identify poor conduct: please do get in touch.
