Sandra joined Cheyne in March 2008 and serves as the firm’s General Counsel, a Partner as well as a member of the Executive Committee. Sandra also is the Chair of Cheyne’s DE&I Committee, and a member of the steering committee of Cheyne’s Women’s Network; roles she is passionate about.
Prior to joining Cheyne, Sandra was a Senior Attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP in New York and London, where she practiced corporate law with a focus on international mergers and acquisitions, international securities transactions, and corporate governance advisory. Sandra is a member of the Bar of the State of New York as well as a Solicitor of England & Wales.
Sandra holds a BA, magna cum laude, in Political Science and International Relations from Brown University, and a JD from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. Sandra grew up in Cologne, Germany.
