Working with emerging and senior leaders in the global financial sectors for over 15 years, I design and deliver bespoke people development and talent initiatives to unlock potential, increase confidence and actively promote inclusive cultures. In my many years of working with behavioural leadership, right now is the most exciting time to work in I&D. Business is now very much aware that in order to thrive they need to embrace difference in thought and experiences to innovate and succeed in a global market. That starts with people. I am passionate about equipping leaders and emerging talent with the tools to advocate for themselves and others and to continually ask the question “What am I not seeing? What’s the different perspective?” and to amplify the quieter
voices.
I have run successful accelerated career development programmes across the diversity strands from Central Government to Private Equity. I have designed and delivered Inclusive Leaders, Respectful Behaviours and Crucial Conversations workshops for the UKs largest Pensions Consultancy amongst others. I am founder of the Women into Leadership mentoring programme for the UK Houses of Parliament and specialise in behavioural flexibility for career development, all through the lens of Inclusion, Diversity and Equity.
I trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and have had a successful career as a BBC TV Presenter and theatre, TV and film actor before establishing my training company whilst pregnant with my first child.
I have been a judge for the WeAreTheCity.Com Rising Stars Awards for pipeline female talent and a judge on the BBC Apprentice Finals in addition to many other panel and speaker engagements. I am mother of two young boys, one with ADHD and Dyslexia and to get me through it all, I occasionally dabble in stand-up comedy.
