Georgina Castles

Responsible Business Specialist

I was born and raised in Wiltshire, attending the local comprehensive school. After completing A-Levels I spent time travelling and working abroad for several years.

I joined Nationwide Building Society in 2017, where I was accepted on the Nationwide Graduate Talent Programme as an internal candidate. During this programme, I was able to follow my personal passion for Sustainability and Responsible Business. I then moved into the Responsible Procurement team, focused on moving to a more inclusive, ethical, and greener supply chain. In 2023 I joined St James’s Place’s Responsible Business team, where our ambition is to embed our Climate, Inclusion & Diversity and Community Impact framework throughout the organisation.

As a mother of two, with a keen interest in the environment I have held active positions in several employee networks during my career, I am passionate about employers supporting employees in the areas that mean the most to them to help create a diverse, supported workforce.
