Emma joined Cheyne in 2021, to work closely with the firm’s Chief Operating Officer in accelerating and leading the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy and a host of other strategic business initiatives. Emma is also on the steering committee of the Cheyne Women’s Network, the Cheyne DE&I Committee and the Cheyne Culture Committee.
Emma began her career in the fixed income division of Goldman Sachs, followed by a move to asset management, where she joined BlueBay Asset Management in its formative years. Emma was most recently a Director of Strategic Development at Caxton Associates and Business Initiatives Manager at BlueCrest Capital Management.
Emma graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne with a B.A. (Hons) in Economic Geography and has been awarded both the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and the CFA Certificate in Investment Management (IMC).
