Chris Gothard is a Partner of the firm and responsible for our Global Markets group within the Investor Services division, including our Foreign Exchange and Securities Lending businesses. Chris joined BBH in 2002 and has held a number of roles within our Foreign Exchange business in London and Hong Kong in addition to serving as the Office Head for London. Chris is the executive sponsor of BBH London’s Pride and Black Affinity Networks, employee-led groups created from the shared belief that we all benefit from a workplace where colleagues are comfortable being themselves. Being a visible Ally is important to Chris as he believes in promoting equality, dignity, and mutual respect for people of all diversity in society, ensuring all can live without fear or prejudice related to their background or orientation. He is also a member of BBH’s Global Talent Council, and he co-leads the Mental Wellbeing pillar of BBH’s employee wellness program, ‘Thrive’. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of York and holds a Graduate Certificate with Distinction in economics from the University of London.
