The Veterans’ and Gender Equality workstreams of the Diversity Project invited you to a Q&A with Surgeon Captain Kate Prior (Royal Navy).
Kate discussed her experiences of working as an anaesthetist during the recent pandemic, along with her active service in Afghanistan, Sierra Leone (during the Ebola crisis) and in South Sudan where she supported United Nations initiatives.
Kate also discussed the recent COVID crisis along with her experiences of operating under extreme environments in military theatre and the resultant mental challenges that she has needed to overcome.
