I am White British. I was a scholarship pupil at a Sussex boys’ boarding school, and read mathematics at Cambridge.
After a gap year travelling, I joined Bacon & Woodrow (now Aon Hewitt) as an actuarial student moving from Pensions to Investment in 1995. I then moved to Consultant relations at Putnam Investments, followed by Lehman Brothers Asset Management (now Neuberger Berman) and GAM.
I joined Russell Investments in 2011, focusing on strategy, alternative investments, and responsible investing for large institutions across EMEA. I am co-chair of Russell Investments Diversity Committee.
I am married with 3 daughters and a new grandson.
