Demystifying Disability Confident: Practical ways forward

Join this informative hybrid event with diversity leaders as we discuss the Disability Confident Scheme (DC) and practical ways for Member Firms to advance disability inclusion in the workplace.

We are delighted to welcome Tom Pursglove MP, Minister of State for Disabled People, Health and Work and Beth Kume-Holland, CEO of Patchwork Hub for a fireside chat, who together will discuss the everyday experience of disabled people at work, explain the DC Scheme and interplay with government Disability Action Plan and strategy of making the UK a more inclusive and accessible society for everyone.

Also, we will have a conversation with a panel of Diversity Project member firms who have signed up to the DC Scheme, where panellists will share their firm’s journey, key challenges, benefits gained and key recommendations for other firms starting out.

During networking, we will welcome some service providers and workstream representatives who can provide support in your DC applications and journeys.

This event will include captioning, and there will be a British Sign Language interpreter present at the event.
