A new cross-firm mentoring experience designed to bring together mid-career professionals (10-15 years’ experience) and senior leaders (20+ years’ industry experience) from across our Member firms. Helping Member firms retain, develop, and inspire talent across the industry.
Multi-firm Apprenticeship Scheme
2026
Launching in 2026, the DP Multi-Firm Apprenticeship Programme will bring together apprentices in front offices across participating member firms, offering a shared training experience, networking opportunities, and access to leading industry experts. Equivalent to a Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist, apprentices will work toward the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
Designed as a social mobility driver, the programme supports talented young people from diverse backgrounds, helping firms utilise their Apprenticeship Levy while investing in the next generation of financial professionals.
The DP Cross Industry (Peri) Menopause Cafe series

We will be meeting quarterly in 2026, with some in-person (London) and others virtual. The first one is on Wednesday 26th January at 3pm until 5pm and will be in-person – venue tba.
Examples of topics we will be discussing are: supportive workplace policies, symptoms and management, mental health. There will also be plenty of opportunity to discuss topics further and importantly ask questions.

Following on from our Cognitive Diversity Research launch, we’ve designed three tailored Cognitive Diversity Blueprint boxes to help you embed cognitive diversity into your organisation: C-suite, all staff, and investment teams – each packed with practical tools, workshops to run internally, and research insights. Next Generation Leaders Programme
Commencing at the beginning of Q2, 2026
The Diversity Project is launching a Next Generation Leaders Programme to address the under-representation of Black and ethnically diverse professionals in senior roles across the investment and savings industry. Combining mentoring through a partnership with Roots Inspire, practical workshops, and executive coaching, this pilot initiative will equip 15 talented professionals from member firms with the confidence, visibility, and leadership skills to step into the next level.
DOT Scorecard

The DOT Scorecard is a practical tool designed to help managers assess and enhance the cognitive diversity and enabling practices within their investment teams. Drawing on key areas identified by Professor Alex Edmans’ research and building on the well-established DOT Scorecard® framework used to evaluate executive-level decision-making cultures, this assessment supports stronger governance, richer perspectives, and improved investment outcomes. As part of membership, 60 teams can be assessed at no additional cost, with further assessments available for a fee.
