Teresa Parker

I am a white American who grew up in the Midwest.  My mother was a nurse and my father ran his own business and my first job was working for him.

loved business and studied Economics and Finance at a Jesuit university. After graduation I looked to join an industry and organization that would provide opportunities for women. I started at Northern Trust in 1982 in operations and studied for my MBA in the evenings at the Booth School, University of Chicago.

In 1994 I moved to London to run our global custody operation and over time moved into roles leading our client facing businesses. From 2009 to 2014, living in Singapore, I lead our Asia Pacific business. I returned to London as COO of our Institutional business and in 2017 was asked to lead our EMEA business.

I am married to a Brit and have two teenage sons.
