UK Operations and People Lead

I am a white British heterosexual, dad of three, working four days a week to balance homelife and work as well as I can. I was born and raised in Kent attending the local state primary school and later the local grammar school before moving to Lancaster to study Mathematics with a year in Canada thrown in.

Since graduating I have spent my 20+ year career in investment consulting wearing several different hats as my career has progressed. The “People agenda” is my true passion, and I am proud to lead large teams across the UK with a mission to support colleagues to develop and achieve long and fulfilling careers. I also sit on and/or chair various DE&I focussed committees to try and build an inclusive workplace with high performing teams. The operations part of my role helps to scratch the itch for wanting things done well and efficiently!

Outside of work I play in and help run a local symphony orchestra, ferry my kids to their various sports and music clubs, make the most of my annual leave by travelling to the UK and further afield. I also try to fit in watching sports, going to the theatre, and playing the occasional round of golf when time permits.
