Sinitta Callman

I was born in Nigeria and moved to the UK when I was 4 years old. My childhood was exposed to so many cultures, seeing as I am mixed race (Nigerian, Cameroonian, Scottish and English), so I feel very lucky to identify with a mixture of backgrounds.

After finishing university, I fell into the world of recruitment and over a decade later I am still here! Three years ago I became a mother, and my priorities switched massively. I knew I loved my role as a recruiter as I got to help so many people but I wanted something that would align with my passion for diversity and inclusion.

Growing up in a predominantly white area, I had never really seen myself represented from many aspects but especially in the workplace. There is a real lack of diversity in senior roles and I have now dedicated my career at E2W to changing this by working closely with both Banking and Asset Management organisations to help them diversify.

I think it is important to not only acknowledge that things need to change, it is important to be the change.
