Sinead Clark

I am white British and grew up in Coventry.   I read Maths at Loughborough University and had a one year industrial placement with Shell, at their Thornton Research Centre in Cheshire.I joined Sedgwick Noble Lowndes in 1997 as a graduate and became an actuarial trainee based in Slough.

After Mercer acquired SNL in 1999 and a relocation to Windsor, I moved into investments and became an investment analyst.  I obtained my CFA Charterholder in 2004 and trained to become an investment consultant in London.  I am now a Senior Consultant at Mercer with a wide and varied client portfolio.

I have managed a number of teams within Mercer and up until the end of 2015, I was the Head of London Investments – a role I handed on after 4 years to allow me to focus purely on client consulting.

I work part-time, 4 days a week.  This enables me to spend one day in the week with my children.  We have an amazing nanny who helps our family for the rest of the week.

My husband works full-time as a Senior Alternatives Analyst at Prudential and helped my return into work by taking one year off to look after our children.
