I am Irish and educated in my home county of Limerick, Ireland where I graduated from Mary Immaculate in 2014 with a Bachelors in Psychology & Media. Following my graduation, I moved to London and obtained a Masters in Organisational Psychology at London Metropolitan University.
In 2016, I began my recruitment career within an insurance recruitment agency before moving to BRUIN Financial where I am part of the Investment – Front & Middle office team responsible for developing BRUIN`s capability across Asset & Wealth Management organisations.
I am passionate about educating and attracting individuals who may be unaware, or indeed fearful, of entering the industry, in particular those from cultural minority backgrounds, whose experiences should inevitably improve diversification of thought.
I have completed a number of key projects to date with the Early Careers work stream including the creation of industry guidelines for graduate intake recruitment and helping to establish a year long pilot programme in conjunction with upReach, a charity specializing in supporting high potential 1st & 2nd year university undergraduates who come from lower socio-economic backgrounds which helps them navigate and hopefully join the investment industry.
