I am Italian, brought up and educated in Italy at a Scientific High School and then at Bocconi University where I majored in International Economics.
I grew up in Como, spending my years between reading books, visiting all the historic sites in Italy (a sort of things you do when your parents are professors!) and enjoying wild nature being part of the Scout Association for 15 years.
I consider myself a true European. I spent a university term at The Rotterdam School of Economics through the Erasmus Program. I worked first in Geneva, then in Paris and finally moved to London in 2000, where I settled by marrying a French investment banker and having two amazing boys.
I worked as a Swiss Equity Fund manager, then as a European Equity Fund manager. I moved to manage a long short European Equity Fund at Front Point in 2006, and since 2011 I managed a Global Thematic Equity fund at Artemis. I am a big believer in working in team. Most recently I have taken on the role as Portfolio Manager with Fidelity International.
When I am not in London going to Conferences and meeting companies, you can find me climbing some mountains or skiing downhill in Chamonix.
