I am white British, originally from Wales although moved to Cornwall in my mid-teens where I attended a typical nineteen-seventies mixed comprehensive school.
My career started in London in the early eighties, working in the then high-tech start-up world of telecommunications. This included a seven-year secondment to Australia, before returning to the UK with my young family in the millennium.
My career focus then switched to working specifically with young people at the early stages of their careers, and I now head up the Early Careers and Employee Development functions for St. James’s Place Wealth Management where I have the privilege of creating opportunities for the progression and development of young people, both within the company and our extended community.
