Mayur Gondhea

I am ethnically Indian, born in London, England to parents who are from Uganda. I have over 18 years finance/infrastructure experience working for consultancy companies, banks, and regulators.

A few years back, my son was diagnosed with Autism which changed the direction of my career. It led me to start up a financial consultancy called CubeLynx that has the pure social objective of recruiting neurodiverse financial analysts. CubeLynx specialises in financial modelling for funds, regulators, developers, local authorities, and charities. Some of our clients include Vinci, Ofgem, Capital & Asset Management, Big Society Capital, and the charity Mind.

Autism has one of the highest unemployment rates out all disabilities and I felt financial modelling would be an excellent career path for neurodiverse people to showcase their strengths and skills. I am someone who is trying to create a social movement and have a track record for developing talent.

I promote EDI through different workstreams: I am on the D&I committee for IPFA (Internal Project Finance Association) and the energy taskforce TIDE (Tackling Inclusion and Diversity in Energy). I also promote the National Autistic Society’s employment programme and am an adviser to Autisitca in the development of an employer index.
