Marina Lund

CEO and Head of Institutional Clients

Marina is CEO and Head of Institutional Clients, Partner, of Longview Partners LLP.  She has spent her entire career in Institutional Asset Management.

Marina spent the 1990s as an equity portfolio manager at Mercury Asset Management, Flemings Investment Management and Morgan Grenfell Asset Management.  In 1999, she relocated with Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) to New York for four years, where she was Head of EAFE, returning to London in late 2003 as Head of Global and EAFE Equites for DeAM. Marina was a board member of Deutsche Asset Management UK and Deutsche Asset Management Investment Services and a member of the UK Management Committee.  As part of the latter Committee she was active in the sale of DeAM to Aberdeen Asset Management in 2005.

Marina joined Longview Partners in 2007.  Longview was principally a private client business with Institutional ambitions.  Marina was Head of Business Development and was awarded partnership in 2012.  She became co-CEO in 2014, acceding to CEO on 1st January 2019.

Prior to Longview she was Managing Director at Tribeca Global Management, a member of the Investment Committee and the Executive Management Committee and before that was Head of Distribution at BlueCrest Capital Management. 

Marina has two boys, both born in New York, her eldest three days after 9/11.

Marina holds a BSc Hons in Economics from University College, London, is a member of the CFA Institute and a graduate of the London Business School Foundation and Endowment Asset Management.
