Lindsay Hudson

I am state school educated, worked part-time jobs from the age of 15 and was the first person in my family to attend University. I graduated in Law and took up my first role in Asset Management in 1997. I started out taking trade tickets for the fund managers, working my way up through various roles in Operations, Change Management, Sales, M&A and always having DE&I as a ‘side of desk passion project’ until the opportunity came to lead Invesco’s EMEA DE&I function – a role which finally ignited my true passion! I joined Aegon Asset Management in 2020 as the Global Head of DEI and in 2023 launched my own consultancy practice.

As a member of the UK  Project, I have been heavily involved with establishing the new European DP chapter, the UK Social Mobility workstream and have recently been appointed as an Ambassador.

I have been married to my husband Neil for 25 years and we have 3 children and 2 labradoodle dogs. Throughout our parenting years we have both worked flexibly to ‘keep the show on the road’ at home and our 3 children have all been through our local state schools. I could talk for hours about ‘The Juggle’ and I hope that along the way I have helped level the playing field for other working parents who come behind me.

It is a pleasure and a privilege to continue to support the work of The Diversity Project.
