Konstantina Kapetanidi

Having left my beautiful home country, Greece, at the age of 18, I consider myself an explorer, having lived in Barcelona, Berlin and now in London for the last 16 years.

Since my teenage years, I have been a volunteer for a Greek charity which provides shelter, food and education to molested or abandoned kids, ensures their continuous development and their smooth integration in the society. I have been mentoring, helping out with their professional “quests”, hosting virtual empowerment sessions (especially now during the pandemic) and hosted many fundraising events throughout the years to support the organisation.

My background is in civil engineering , project management & business administration and I learned data & analytics on the job. Before joining the finance sector, my expertise was in e-commerce (Head of BI & Analytics of eBay Germany) and I believe that bringing in different perspectives and voices that “stand- out” can only make a team grow towards the right direction. For this past year, I am leading the Business Intelligence Function of Distribution for Schroders and I am lucky enough, to be in a team that has embraced all of the roles that I have in my life and has allowed me to have a really healthy work-life balance.

My weekends and free time are filled with long walks in Battersea park, drawing lessons with my daughter by the lake, visiting the monkeys that we have adopted from the Battersea park zoo and lots of reading. My dream is to become a writer of children’s books and have an office overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
