While my career may not have followed the most direct path so far, I do believe there is a thread that runs through it. I’ve always been interested in helping people. This led to me study Education at university, followed by three years working in a primary school. While I loved working with the children, I also came to realise that my true interest was supporting adults, so I made the shift to recruitment.
Now, I’m in a role where I spend all my time supporting people, while working for a company with a mission to make a real difference. We’re here to help women get the career success in financial services that their talents and ambition deserve. I run the E2W and Men for Inclusion community, so as well as being the first point of contact for members, I’m in charge of driving growth and creating an environment where we can all help each other to achieve more.
Whilst we dedicate ourselves to helping and supporting our members, mostly at the top of the social and economic ladder, we are aware that there are people in our society without the advantages and privilege enjoyed by many, which is why I am so delighted to be working on the socio-economic workstream at the Diversity Project.
