I am white, British and female, and consider myself a Londoner having lived here most of my life. And, although I have always lived in the UK, I have travelled extensively throughout for both work and pleasure. I have two (almost grown up) children and am contemplating getting a dog.
My day job is as a partner at Oliver Wyman, but I started my career at SG Warburg and ended up as a portfolio manager at Mercury Asset Management (now BlackRock); in between these I ran several investment businesses for Mercer. Alongside this, for many years I have been closely involved in inclusion and diversity – including as a founding member of Oliver Wyman’s Inclusion Council, on the steering committee for our Women in Financial Services programme, and as career advisor and mentor to a number of the firm’s female consultants.
I have a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cambridge University, a combination that was extremely unusual when I joined the City.
