I grew up in Latvia, a small country of 2 million people, so it was quite a shock moving to London to start my career in marketing in 2012. Since then I’ve held various roles in big corporates, consultancies and even the government before finding my long-term passion – fintech. I truly believe finance can be revolutionised the way entertainment, education and communications have done in the past decade. Moreover, with a well-built, fair and accessible financial system faster progress can be made for inclusion initiatives at all levels.
I am passionate about sustainable finance, the applications of behavioural science on financial wellbeing and cross-industry collaboration (we simply don’t come together to talk often enough). Outside work, you’re likely to find me reading a book – biographies, philosophy or science – and preparing delicious Italian dishes with my husband who is a much better cook.
I hold a BA in Public Relations from Bournemouth University and a MSc in Psychology of Economic Life from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
