Graham Kitchen

I am white British. I attended a co-educational comprehensive school, after which I became the first member of my family to attend university, studying history at Lancaster.

I had intended to become an academic but, whilst studying for a D.Phil at Oxford, I realised it wasn’t for me. Without knowing much about the City, I successfully applied to become a graduate trainee on the UK equity desk at Invesco.

Over the following 28 years I have been an analyst, a fund manager and a head of department at Invesco, Columbia Threadneedle and Janus Henderson. At the latter I was a member of the Diversity Steering Group and the Diversity Forum.

I also act as a mentor for the Social Mobility Foundation and The Prince’s Trust. I have a very strong commitment to diversity, equality and social mobility.
