I am an Indian, born and raised in Mumbai. I’m an engineer by background, with over 14 years of programming and program management experience. I started my career in the biggest public sector bank in India, supporting the business through software solutions, followed by an MBA in Finance.
I then joined the capital markets regulator in India as a certifications design specialist, where I oversaw the development of certifications (mandated and non-mandated) for those working in the Indian capital markets. I also rolled out the first financial literacy program of India and the first Corporate Governance training in partnership with the IFC.
I relocated to London a decade ago to join CFA Institute to develop their Investment Foundations Program and more recently led their D&I work for a little over two years where I engaged with leaders of 14 institutional firms to drive their agenda to create global D&I impact.
I worked alongside 44 investment management industry firms, consulting with them on best practice, industry trends, metrics and codes & standards and also led the design and delivery of the global talent pipeline development ‘Young Women in the Investment Program’ in developing and emerging economies.
Recently, I joined Invesco as the EMEA D&I Manager, and will be working closely with global D&I leaders, the global HR team and the senior EMEA executive team. I will help drive Invesco’s diversity & inclusion strategy across the region, fostering a culture that supports, encourages and invests in talented people, as well as developing the broader group of diversity initiatives set out by Invesco’s Diversity & Inclusion Executive Council.
