Daniel Rudd is CEO of HSBC Asset Management UK and Head of UK Wholesale, responsible for the development and oversight of the firm’s UK business as well as leading the UK Wholesale Sales team. Prior to this role, of which he was promoted to in early 2025, Dan was Head of Wholesale for Northern Europe from 2022 to 2025 leading the growth of HSBC AM’s wholesale businesses across the Middle East, Northern Europe, and the UK. He joined HSBC Asset Management as Head of Global Offshore Sales in November 2005, focusing on key strategic distributors across the globe, and the promotion of key HSBC Asset Management strategies. From 2007, Rudd moved back to a UK domiciled role heading up the UK wholesale sales team. From 2008 to 2016, Dan held the position of Regional Head of MENA. In this role, based in United Arab Emirates, he oversaw HSBC AM’s sales in the region and expanded the client base within MENA before moving back to the UK in April 2016. Prior to joining HSBC AM, Rudd worked for DWS Investments for ten years, working in UK and Global sales roles.
