I am the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Community Relations Trainee at Janus Henderson Investors, passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces and driving meaningful engagement across employee networks. I collaborate on initiatives that promote belonging and well-being, where I help coordinate our 12 Employee Resource Groups and strengthen relationships with charity partners through planned volunteering initiatives and events.
I hold a BSc in Marketing with a placement year, during which I worked at Lactalis UK & Ireland, one of the world’s leading dairy companies. After gaining experience in the FMCG sector, I transitioned into the finance industry, motivated by a passion for creating inclusive workplaces and building strong, connected communities.
Originally from Nigeria, I moved to the UK for sixth form and university, and I am proud to call both Nigeria and the UK my home. My cross-cultural perspective, combined with a strong commitment to equity, drives my work in creating inclusive environments and fostering a sense of belonging across our business.
