Policy Lead: Investment and Stewardship

PLSA logo

I am half Maltese, half white British. I was part of the first generation in my family to attend university – going to the London School of Economics and Warwick University – after attending an all-girls school in the UK.

In my current role at the PLSA, I lead the organisation’s investment and stewardship policy work. I also co-ordinate both our internal- and external- facing work on diversity and inclusion.  Before the PLSA, I was Head of Government Relations at the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association. I have also previously worked on financial policy for various Members of Parliament and undertaken fixed income research for a large asset management firm.

I lead the asset owners workstream at the Diversity Project and believe passionately that pension schemes have a role in drawing good diversity practices up through the investment chain, but also need to focus on ensuring that they themselves become more representative and diverse.
