I was born and raised in Canada but have lived in London for over 15 years and proud to also be a British Citizen. I studied Economics and Business at the University of Waterloo in Canada and am a CFA charterholder.
I have been working in the financial industry for more than 20 years, starting my career in investment banking (working for several Canadian banks – Toronto Dominion, Royal Bank of Canada and Scotiabank) before moving to London to join Barclays. I have now been in asset management for over a decade, joining BlackRock in 2008 and working in several positions including most recently, Head of UK & Ireland Institutional Sales for iShares, before joining Amundi in 2019.
I am passionate about diversity as I genuinely believe that the most successful teams, businesses and firms are those that embrace diversity and have talent from a wide range of backgrounds. This is the ethos I have always followed as a manager recruiting my own teams. I am also a co-chair for the Diversity Project’s Ability workstream. One of the aims of this workstream is to make the industry more accessible to people with disabilities.
