Chair of SMART Working workstream
I am Croatian and British with Slovenian and Italian heritage. My primary education was in Opatija, a small coastal town in Northern Croatia. I took an opportunity to study abroad and I graduated with a BA (Hons) in International Business from Kingston University.
I have 10 years’ experience across talent acquisition, executive search and D&I within the investment and savings industry. I lead LUDGATE Search, the Executive Search arm of THE FISER GROUP.
My passion is to encourage and inspire women; in particular those from varied and challenging backgrounds, whose experiences provide organisations with the diversity of thought, to join the industry. I am particularly passionate about working with organisations which focus on attracting and developing inclusive leaders with a goal to nurture more diverse and inclusive workplaces. To further my professional skills in this area, I am working towards a Professional Certificate in Executive Coachingat Henley Business School.
I am a member of the Diversity Project’s Steering Committee and Gender workstream, and chair the SMART Working workstream. My ambition is to accelerate collaboration on attraction and retention initiatives for diverse talent within the industry.
I lead, influence and empower a team of 50+ industry professionals from the Diversity Project member firms to advance flexible working practices across the industry with an aim to create and nurture more inclusive workplaces. Organisations’ fortunes are based on their ability to attract and retain the best and most diverse talent.
My belief in flexible working is based on the unequivocal evidence that empowering individuals to work more effectively and efficiently improves individual and team performance. Flexible working offers employees a better work life balance, increases wellbeing and improves employee engagement regardless of their circumstances, gender, ethnicity, disability, age or neurodiversity.
