Ammaar Lateef

I am third generation Northern Irish, with heritage from the Indian subcontinent. I attended Campbell College where I was one of three minority ethnics, an experience which taught me to become culturally flexible.

Upon completing my Business & Law undergraduate, I moved to Dubai for 5 years working in leadership advisory across Private Equity and Asset Management. During this time I Co-Founded a start-up, which I exited in 2016. Working in such a multicultural place was incredible, as I witnessed the beauty of diversity working in harmony. I returned to a post-Brexit UK in 2017 to self-fund an Executive MBA (completed with Distinction) from Warwick Business School while continuing to work full-time.

Continuing my specialisation in Private Equity & Asset Management, I would speak to senior industry professionals who would bemoan of the lack of diversity at the highest levels in the industry. This triggered my desire to utilise my unique access to the industry and partake in the conversation of diversity, equity and inclusion.
