Akua Brako-Raja

I have a pretty mixed background and spent my early childhood in Ghana, Germany and the UK, having settled permanently in the UK from the age of 10. For over 25 years, I have mentored pupils of Primary to University age from varying backgrounds. I am also on the governing board of a multi-site primary school.

After graduating from King’s College London in 2003 with a BA in German with Applied Computing I began my career in finance within Fidelity International, managing a book of business for their German and Austrian based clients and advisors.

I joined Pictet Asset Management in 2005 managing institutional client relationships across different markets and over the last four years, I have headed the Global Client Group based in London – a team responsible for the client servicing and relationship management of institutional clients globally.

I am a very keen runner, swimmer, creative writer as well as being a mother – I generally enjoy keeping myself active and busy while taking on new challenges and experiences.
