Adriana Weber

I am Latin American born in Mexico. I studied Industrial and Systems Engineering in university, where I first experienced being the only woman in the room. A rotation programme at Bain & Company brought me to London. Whilst studying for an MBA at INSEAD in France and Singapore in 2002, I participated in the summer internship programme at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division. I was the only woman and the only non-European MBA to be offered a permanent job.

After working at Morgan Stanley in their M&A and Consumer, Retail and Luxury Goods team, I moved to Lehman Brothers (UK M&A team). The financial crisis of 2008 forced me to change career and I focused on helping MBA students successfully find jobs in the financial sector through Structure Talent Ltd.

I decided to take a career break to raise my family and have recently joined the Diversity Project as Project Manager after being hired via Women Returners. I am married and have two children.
