I am white British (born and raised in Wales). Educated at University College, London (UCL) – the spiritual home of Jeremy Bentham. UCL particularly appealed to me as it was the first egalitarian university in Britain to offer the full admittance of women and those of any religious or secular background. Their motto is “Cuncti adsint meritaeque expectent praemia palmae” which translates: let all come who by merit deserve the most reward.
I am a global equity fund manager with a core focus of embedding environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into my investment process to better understand the long-term sustainability of businesses. Elements of my economic sustainability considerations include; gender diversity, societal contribution of a business and the environmental impact of operations.
I am interested in addressing the structural hurdles women face in the industry, particularly performance track record retention during parental leave and smart working practices.
I am married with two children.
