The recent rise in Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and general anti-immigration views is concerning for many of those working within our industry, especially of course those who feel directly threatened by racism. This is creating new challenges for firms as they seek to provide support and reassurance to all employees and to reconcile potentially differing points of view.
The Diversity Project held a webinar on the 11th of September where both professional experts and those who have experienced racism and seen ‘what works’ shared practical advice to help member firms deal with these challenges.
