We welcome the regulators’ Discussion Paper, which signals an increased focus on creating a more diverse and inclusive investment and savings sector.
Speaking on behalf of the Diversity Project, its chair Helena Morrissey said, “We welcome the regulators’ joint Discussion Paper, which signals an increased focus on creating a more diverse and inclusive UK financial services industry. Our 86 members – firms in the investment and savings sector – are committed to change and have started to make progress but there is a long way to go. Greater scrutiny and higher expectations from the regulators will keep attention focused on the issues and help to accelerate change”.
