The Diversity Project Returners Workstream hosted a free breakfast event for Employers: Returners – An Untapped Source of Talent.
This event was targeted at hiring managers and HR professionals who have:
- an interest in accessing and supporting the talent pool of professionals returning after an extended (2+ year) career break
- already run a returner programme or directly hiring returners
The objectives were:
- to present the Workstream’s analysis of current returner activity in the asset management sector
- to highlight the business case for hiring returners
- to clarify the different ways of accessing and supporting returners, including returnships and supported hiring programmes
- to share practical learnings about returner programmes from a business and a returner perspective
