The C-suite Perspective: Repositioning Diversity as a strategic intent – Global webinar

Date: 28/04/2025

At a time of great uncertainty around DEI and very different positions being taken by politicians around the world, we are pleased to offer members the opportunity to attend this Global C-suite webinar, a unique chance to hear from top leaders in our industry in the US, UK and Europe.

They will discuss how organisations across different regions are addressing the challenges and repositioning DEI as a strategic intent, to ensure that we create the best performing teams and that all talent has a fair shot, while remaining in compliance with local regulations and laws.

It will also be an opportunity to provide you with an update on our Cognitive Diversity research project, led by Professor Alex Edmans at London Business School, which we hope to be part of the revised business case for DEI done well.

In this exclusive invite-only Diversity Project Advisory Council and C-Suite members webinar, we are delighted to welcome the following speakers:

  • Cara Williams, Senior Partner, Global Head of ESG, Climate and Sustainability, Mercer
  • Kasper Elmgreen, Chief Investment Officer Fixed Income and Equities, Nordea Asset Management
  • Raymond Sagayam, Managing Partner, Pictet Group and Co-CEO, Pictet Asset Management
  • Thierry D’Argent, CEO SG London Branch, Societe Generale
  • Michelle Thompson-Dolberry, Executive Vice President & Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, MFS
  • Helena Morrissey, Chair of the Diversity Project UK

They will come together to share their insights and experiences on the evolving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) landscape.

Please note this event will be strictly Chatham-house rules, with no attributed comments, to facilitate a free flowing conversation.

Key discussion topics will include:

  • The State of DEI Across Regions: A comparison of DEI initiatives in the US, UK, and Europe, and the varying approaches to implementing DEI strategies in different cultural and regulatory environments.
  • The Role of Leaders: How C-suite can lead by example, setting the tone from the top to create lasting change and champion inclusion in their organisations.
  • Overcoming Challenges: Addressing the common obstacles and misconceptions companies face in fostering truly inclusive environments, creating equitable opportunities for all and driving competitive advantage.
  • What’s next for DEI? Hear our speaker’s views on the question that everyone is asking.

Date: 28th April 2025
