The Diversity Project invites you to a webinar where both professional experts and those who have experienced racism and seen ‘what works’ will share practical advice to help member firms deal with these challenges.
The recent rise in Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and general anti-immigration views is concerning for many of those working within our industry, especially of course those who feel directly threatened by racism. This is creating new challenges for firms as they seek to provide support and reassurance to all employees and to reconcile potentially differing points of view.
This webinar is for senior leaders, comms teams and anyone that is interested in this topic. It will cover:
· Sharing stories: A session with panellists from member firms sharing their experiences and/or what they have seen work/not working
· Expert panel discussion: Dealing with Islamophobia and anti-Semitic behaviour and also racial abuse of specific minority groups. See speakers below.
Please do feel free to submit questions in advance and to indicate if you wish to raise these anonymously. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions on the day. Click here to ask your questions.
In addition, we will be sharing high level results from a recent survey carried out by Reboot. The survey takes 5 minutes to complete, please do so here and be part of the discussion.
If you or anyone you know in our industry has been affected by these topics, the Diversity Project’s Safe Space is available, which offers everyone works in the industry the opportunity to share experiences of poor behaviour. Report here.
Please share these details with anyone from your member firm or the investments and saving industry who is interested in participating.
