This year’s theme for Black History Month is “Reclaiming Narratives.” At the Diversity Project, in conjunction with TalkAboutBlack and in collaboration with our Mental Health workstream, we will be marking this month by launching a survey.
Research highlights that ethnic minorities in the UK are more likely to encounter mental health issues, but less likely to receive necessary support.
This survey will aim to understand the mental health experiences of Black professionals in the UK, focusing on whether they face specific challenges in identifying and speaking up about mental health issues and in receiving the appropriate assistance. It also aims to identify best practices from organisations and promote positive mental health for everyone.
Survey link to follow soon.
