City Hive and #Talkaboutblack Cross-Company Mentoring Scheme 2021

Following their successful inaugural scheme, in 2021, #Talkaboutblack is proud to be collaborating with City Hive, a network for change that champions a more balanced asset and investment management industry, to extend their Cross-Company Mentoring Scheme to include both women and ethnic minorities as Mentees.

Women and ethnic minorities continue to be under-represented and underpaid in Investment Management. Mentoring provides crucial, cost-effective and insightful guidance and support that accelerates professional development and career progression.

The City Hive Mentoring Scheme promotes Cross-Company collaboration, allowing for a greater choice of Mentors with different perspectives, skills and experience which might not be available in-house.

Sponsors are allocated a set number of mentor-mentee pairs according to their package. Only women and ethnic minorities can apply to be a Mentee, however we encourage Mentor applications regardless of ethnicity or gender.

The scheme commences in the first half of 2021. Bronze, Silver and Gold Sponsorship packages are available. To play your part in fostering and developing a diverse talent pipeline to future proof our industry contact [email protected].
