Head of UK Institutional
I am white British, brought up in the smallest county in the UK, Rutland, where I went to a comprehensive school until the age of 18 before moving to Leeds to read Law. I then moved to York for a year to gain my LPC before deciding that I actually would prefer a job in Finance.
My first foray into the city was working in the call centre at Jupiter Asset Management selling PEPs in their last season before moving onto the graduate recruitment programme at Morgan Grenfell, which later became Deutsche Asset Management.
I have worked at Janus Henderson for 11 years in a variety of roles – most recently as Head of UK Institutional.
I am married to a quantum physicist and have 2 sons – our eldest has Aspergers, ADD, ODD, ADHD and every other mental health acronym there is – which makes working flexibly a necessity for me.
When I am not at work I can usually be found dancing, for therapy and for fun, at our house in Ibiza. I am trying to convince Andrew to open an office out there, it’s a work in progress for now….
